Containers for fruit/veg etc by
Bubbles_
Hey ho, folks!
Merry Christmas!
I have been making lidded pots for garlic and onion for a while now. I put
holes top and bottom and shape them like garlic or onion. Silly, but fun.
What I am wondering is what other kinds of fruit/veg can keep better in
lidded pots.

Some more YouTube from me by
Bubbles_
Hi everyone :-)
I have added to my YouTube "collection" with the process of making lidded
balls and also the opening of my bisque kiln today.
I am not posting because I want more hits on my videos. What I was hoping
for was actually some feedback from "real" (as opposed to little-old amateur...

Beginner's Question--Potter's Wheel by
Buck
They're all over the place, of course, and have dozens of characteristics
and quirks.
I remember two things (From how long ago I will not mention!):
1. A MASSIVE foot powered wheel that seemed to hold momentum forever. No
power required except the legs. Are these antiques, (or at the very...

Anyone building their own kilns? by

I am trying to get started doing some glass and pottery crafting. I am
having to do it on my own and with the aid of some books. I live 150 mi

afford the tuition if it was next store, we're barely affording keeping the...

Shares Are Bolstered by News From Europe
Some traders say that the market is gaining momentum from its recent gains and have begun pointing to signs that the market’s extreme volatility may be giving way to a calmer period. But with all eyes on Europe, even optimists acknowledge the fragility...

Ventillation by
Cappi8
I'm new at firing and need information regarding proper ventilation. I own
a Skutt Kiln and will be firing in my basement. The kiln will be near a
window so that I can vent out the toxic fumes. What exactly would I need to
do to make sure that no fumes remain indoors.
Thanks
Jessica

Having trouble with warping trays by
CarterDF
I enjoy using slab construction to form trays, but I have problems with
serious warping during the cone 6 glaze firing. In my most recent tray
disaster I used KPS 222 clay, a brown specked stoneware rated cone 4-8. My
slab was just under 3/8" thick when the 17" long tray was finished. I...
