Laughing at myself by
Cheryl Isaak
I made myself a deal - an hour of stitching time if I got the spice and tea
cabinet cleaned out. While unloading, sorting and general dumping of stuff,
I decide, those old glass spice bottles would be a great way to store beads

DMC flower thread by
Boohoo1971
Cleaning out stash and found around 30 skeins of DMC flower thread in baggies.
Don't remember when or why I got it. It is in good condition with only one
skein looking like I used it. If anyone wants it, e-mail me and I will mail it
to you. If I don't hear anyone wants it in a few days, out it...

SRE sale at Michael's by
Linda Wright
I don't know about anyone else's Michael's, but at mine apparently SRE
is losing favor. I saw their entire inventory marked down to 50 cents
a skein - so all you fans of SRE may want to check your local
Michael's and stock up!

Stitching and something else by
Mlle Ilvesvuori
Hi ladies and gents!
I know I have not been around much, but stitching has went on. Last Saturday
I was in Aino's place again - and I just stitched away. I am happy about it.
But it is not the whole story. The best is yet to come.
Today I went to Lepistö Driving School. Raimo, my teacher, was...

Mackintosh by
Pat P
My grandson`s just bought a Mac and I`m jealous. I LOVED them when I was
working. My only worry is all the disks with stuff saved on them in Windows
format - not to mention my (very expensive) design software and designs.
Any experts out there to reassure me and tell me how to solve the...

Floor frames by
Sorceress
I'd love to hear from you good folks regarding your various floor frame
experiences, likes, and dislikes. I'm thinking about upgrading again, and
while my current floor frame is adequate, I'd like to find something that can
easily handle larger scroll frames and stretcher bars. Thanks for your...

Stitching retreats by
pensmom4
I'm looking to go on a stitching retreat this year. Can anyone help
me compile a list of retreats? So far I've found these:
1. Shakespeare's Peddler has a few this year.
2. Shepherd' Bush had one _last_ year.
3. Nordic Needle had one last year, also.
4. A company called A Stitchers Retreat...

nautical needlework by
Bungadora
I did a search for macrame fringe tonight and came across this site. It has a
couple of historical examples of needlework done by sailors on the sailing
ships, and I thought some of you might find it interesting too.

Yippee!!! Now I have half of a quilt to do and my hubby's sweater. By the way,
the yarn came-- Gatsby yarn by Classic Elite we spoke of a few weeks back, and
it is well worth the extra money. It is nice. I wish I would have had a good
