Using half stitches in place of full stitches by deniseb
I believe I read in the Nordic Needle newsletter some time ago that using half stitches instead of full cross stitches will make a project go faster. No kidding. But, to get the same coverage -- would you use 3 strands of floss for the half stitches if you would have used 2 for the full stitches?...

Australian floods - Our Oz posters by MargW
Anybody know what part of Australia Trish is in? And whether or not she is affected by the floods (or by the drought further south)? And for all the rest of our Australian posters as well - good thoughts and prayers on their way. It sounds like a nightmare. MargW

Hi, I just talked with Deb. her power went out yesterday evening, and may be out for quite a while. A big tree fell, so not only did it knock out power, but they can't get very far, as the road is blocked. She says they are just fine, but didn't get to bed until about 3am due to Jeanne's...

Charles Craft Tubes by Allie Orange
Is it possible to buy tubes like those Charles Craft fabrics come in, either from that company or from someone else? So many people on RCTN seem to use them to store fabric and WIP's and they seem ideal. TIA, Allie Orange Tallahassee, FL
