Squished! by KittyG
I've been squished as well! What a beautiful card. And a dark blue fabric that is a standard favorite of mine. I've used it in several of my quilts so no doubt will put it to good use. Thanks so much, whoever you are! hmm... -- ~kitty in phx~

My first squishie! by Pam in Spencerport
Yep, yep, I was hoping it would happen someday. And it did! My first squishie arrived in the mail today. Being a squishie virgin, I didn't know what it was at first. Then I sort of squeezed it and well,,, 'squished' it and then I knew! I tore open the envelope and there it was. A pretty blue, sort...

LQS in Gettysburg? by Pat in Virginia
IMS: I don't have LQS info. A friend enjoyed a tour of the Battlefield and told me it is especially worthwhile to rent or buy (??) the tour audio tape for the car. HTH. Have a great trip! PAT IMS wrote: Road trip! DH and I are actually going away for the weekend, something we very rarely do...

Euro Pro SM by Batik Freak
Flipping channels tonight I ran across one of those home shopping networks promoting three different models (good, better, best) of the EuroPro SM. One was electronic/computerized with a zillion bells and whistles; one was mechanical with 48 stitches, and the other was mechanical with...

Now I've gone and done it! by frood
While at the new LQS today (Miss Fussy Rose wanted to go), I was chatting with one of the owners, and the idea of a kids' trunk show came up - a display of quilts made by kids. That led to talking about a class for kids, and I said I could teach that. I then said I'd like to teach a class on...

Interfacing Scraps by TerriLee in WA
Does anyone have a use for these? Or should I just toss them? Some are fusible, others are stitch-in, all are too small for any garment usage, i.e., collars, cuffs, plackets, etc. Thanks, -- TerriLee in WA (state)

Totally OT, but you'll like it by teleflora
OK, I made a cake yesterday and I have to share the recipe. I am so glad it only made a small cake cause I ate it ALL. And I don't like apples that much. Caramel Apple Dessert Squares Sliced apples bake into the top of this rich, tempting cake. It's easy and fun because the caramel sauce forms...

Question about stash notebook by Ianae
I'm trying to organize myself so I spend less time hunting for something and less money buying things I already have. OK, so that last part isn't really much of a problem yet, but as my stash increases it will become a lot more difficult to remember what I have and how much of it. I designed a...

TSWLTH: Recent issues by TMMRR
Has anyone had issues with Joann.com this month? They had some sort of problem with their shipping, and now I think my pitiful little shipment of eight spools of thread is lost forever. I ordered them on the 11th, and now the tracking system is down. They had sent me a code to get $15 off my next...

RCTQ Logo with your own Mascot by nzlstar*
since rctq has a logo of the TAWT on a puter screen already, how about..... folks who'd like a mascot could add who/what they like typing at the puter there. you'd still be found among the throngs at quilt shows etc. that way no one is offended, no one need worry about one mascot not working in...

I'm Really HOT about message by She in PA
This is the guy that came on looking for Bird Nest fabric for his wife. But he wouldn't let her use his computer. I emailed him personally this message. You insulted a lot of women about not letting your wife touch your computer. You should teach her how to search on the net. There are many,...
