~OT~ - I need to possibly cast something by
Tinkster
I need to make a cube like this:
http://snipurl.com/58ez
It isn't solid, but rather a wire-form type cube. It would be 3/4" to
1" on a side. At first, I was thinking about doing it with 1/16"
stainless rods, but I can't figure out how to join them. The finished
box will need to withstand temps of...

silverplated and sterling silver by
Audrey
Hi
Can someone please explain the differences - not the basics in that I know
that silver plated is just a thin layer of silver on a base metal (which
one?) but differences in durability, strength etc. Does silver plated
tarnish as silver does??
Thanks very much

Recycling silver by
Bungadora
I frequently come across broken or one-of earrings when I am working at the
store, and they just get thrown out otherwise. They're Bali silver, so I was
wondering if it is worthwhile collecting these and getting a silversmith to
make something of them someday (plus I have a box of one-of's from...

need help with knots by
Pandi
I made a necklace but I wasn't sure how to knot the end through all the
beads. I tried a sewers technique and knotted within the same strand but it
shows and it bothers me. Is there a good tutorial maybe with pictures out
there on how to end your necklace?
Thanks
