sculpeylll help please by
beady eyes
Hi,
I am doing my first piece - a pendant flower- and I have a question
that I haven't seen posted. I like making dainty flowers, the size of
real johnny jump-ups. Because the base of the flower is 1/2 " thick
and the petals are paper thin, how much time should I bake this
piece? Is this the...

milling or machining polymer clay? by
NuketyDukey
Hi All,
Have been looking for unique sources of plastics that can be customized and
colored in a variety of ways to fit special orders.
Polymer seems like a good fit, but not having worked with it before, I was
wondering if anyone has, or knows someone who has, used polymers and
machined them...

Teeny Weenie Pregnancies by
[email protected]
How many times does a parent have to remind their child about
contraception, and sexually transmitted diseases. What does it take for
a parent to be heard. In some unfortunate cases children just do not
listen and choose to ignore the best advice any parent can give to
their child.
It is hard for a...

Anybody try new clay Studio by Sculpey? by
Martha[_4_]
According to Polyform it's supposed to be very durable and easy to
condition, and superior for large projects as it doesn't crack, etc.. Same
bake time. Bakes to a "suede finish." Comes in very interesting colors.
Just wondering if anybody has tried it. Does it sand/polish well, etc.

Building a mold for casting resin by
G. M. Lupo
I'd like to try to create a top for a coffe table using resin but will need
to custom build the mold. The item would be one piece that's 48" long, 17"
wide and 5/16 " thick on top, with a lower portion that would fit down into
the table and would be 46" long, 15" wide and 5/8 " thick. I'd also...

Is it "done" or under-done? by
bex707
I've been using polymer clay for 12 years, maybe a little more. I
know that recently the makers of FIMO have lowered the recommended
bake temperature. Because I rent, I have always been at the mercy of
whatever oven landlords provided. Because of this, for a long time, I
used a small toaster...
