Janner
We're going out to a BBQ on the weekend and everyone is taking something
and I need an idea for a pudding suitable for 2 diabetic little boys.
Any ideas, I hate children to be left out when we are all having fun.
Thanks

Stirring the pot with another discussion-- VBG by
Pati Cook
What is a "professional" Quilter?? or maybe that should be "Who".
This discussion has come up in a couple of conversations I have had
lately and would like to see what others have to say.
Our local guild quilt show has seen a serious decline in entries over
the last several years because of...

OT Natural diuretic? by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
I'm having a terrible time with swollen feet and ankles. It gets to where
my feet start feeling numb and my shoes don't fit.... ugh. I'm always like
this in the summer any way, but this year it's ridiculous. I asked my PT
and she said summer swelling is relatively common since your body will...

Reply about Dream Angel Batting by
Pati Cook
Thought that some of you might like to see the following reply to my
questions about the Dream Angel batting.
Thank you for your interest in Quilters Dream Batting. Dream Angel is made with fibers that are neither cotton nor poly. The fibers are man-made fibers, but, again, are not polyester....

Quilting Flannel Batting? by
dogmom
I'm making a string quilt; strings are sewn to 10" muslin squares and the
finished size will be about 95" x 105". I've sewn 36 blocks together and
they are predictably heavy (I told DH it may be the perfect quilt--we'll
never be able to get out of bed once we get under it!). I plan to use...

Carole-Retired and Loving It
I've finished all three of my July blocks! And, in hopes that my
blocks will all be mathematically correct, I've also cut sashings and
made cornerstones, and pieced borders with corner blocks!
Here is a link to my blocks:

Quilting poem - cute by
Marlys in Indiana
My Wife, The Quilter
She learned to quilt on Monday
Her stitches were very fine.
She forgot to thaw out dinner,
So we went out to dine.
She quilted miniatures Tuesday.
She says they are a must.
They really were quite lovely,

OT Looking for a recipe- please help? by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
What I want is a lemon bar that is the texture and heavy, moist chewiness of
a brownie.
I have recipes for lemon pudding cake, lemon pound cake, lemon dump cake,
lemon bars with a filling like a lemon meringue pie and a bunch of other
lemon cake type recipes. But I *want* one with the rough...

old fashioned swing arm metal lights (* I already have 2 set up in my
sewing room - one has an Ott bulb inserted and is positioned in the
fabric stash area while the other is used with a fluorescent bulb over
my ironing board). ...

Change of address -- again. :S by
Sandy
I give up. Embarq more or less forced me to change my email address not
too long ago, and I haven't been happy every since. For the past four
days, we've had email outages lasting part of each of those days. Tech
support is dismal. I've opted to go back to EarthLink, which means
paying a little...
