OT - weather by
Judy
Hope all of you are safe and secure and protected from both the doggone
heat waves and horrific storms that keep running through the country.
Enough! Praying better (and calmer) weather will soon be on their way. Ya
can't quilt when it's too hot or lose power in a storm.

I got good news at the doctor's! I am FULL WEIGHT BEARING!!!!! He said my
xrays looked excellent and it's healed exactly the way he wanted it to be!
How wonderful is that??? The leg feels kinda rubbery from not being used
and the change in length is amazing- I am no longer lopsided and I...

Collecting for by
Butterflywings
Every so often one of us asks:
What are YOU collecting for?
It doesn't have to be a WIP (Work in Progress) ((Christmas 6" finished
squares TATW))
have a due date ((Butterfly Attic Window))
could even be a someday ((B/W))
or even have to be fabric ((Thimbles, cup/saucer, butterflies))

What is your favorite color by
Debra
We just had a thread on what we collect, and many of us are collecting
specific kinds of prints or specific colors of fabric for one quilt
idea or another. But most of us never really have to collect our
favorite color because it nearly jumps into our hands whenever we are
shopping for fabric,...

how to make a sweatshirt jacket? by
joanb
I saw sweatshirt jackets when I was on vacation in the US of A, and am
curious as to how they are constructed. Do you cut up a sweatshirt
and line your patchwork jacket with it, or do you buy sweatshirt
fabric ?

Recommend a batt? by
Polly Esther
It is time to order another case of batting and I'm wondering if I'm making
the best choice. Mountain Mist Gold is a 50-50 blend; easy to work with and
produces some puffiness (is that a word?) for baby landing spots. The best
price I can find tonight is $ 6.22 per cribsize.
Before I tried...
