Queen City x-stitcher
Ok, I resurrected a UFO. It is Indigo Rose's Mother to Daughter

Well that section is now done!!!!!
I have also progressed to the last side of the nutmeg designs...

7 ct. Klostern and 10 ct. Betsy Ross linen by
Phoebe
Hi, there. I am a lurker who has learned so much from this newsgroup.
I recently bought(at a terrific price) two large pieces of 7 ct.
Klostern and some 10 ct. Betsy Ross linen from a shop that is closing.
Has anyone used this fabric? If so, how many strands of DMC floss
have you used to get good...

70th Birthday by
Pat P
My son`s ex-wife`s aunt is 70 next year, and I want to do her a cross stitch
picture (Not quite as complex as TW, and definitely not an MLI) but, on the
other hand not TOO simple. Any suggestions?
It just wants to be a bit special and probably flowery.

This is almost to the day my 7th anniversary of finding this board. I am so
grateful for all I have gotten. I found things through here I never would have
even known existed to purchase which is a gift . It has been such a blessing
to have others to share needlework with. In a city in which you...

8 Tips For Picking The Perfect Wedding Dress by
[email protected]
When little girls spend their math classes daydreaming of weddings
(instead of winning the World Series -- not to say you can't do both),
what do they dream of first? The perfect wedding dress, of course: a
gown in white satin with a bustle and sweeping train, the perfect
embellishments, and the...

9/11 Memorial -- World Peace Ribbon Project by
Karen C - California
We arranged to donate the World Peace Ribbon to the International Day of Peace
Vigil (www.idpvigil.com).
One of the organizers, who works for the UN, took the time to phone me to let
me know that the project had touched her heart. As she looked at the segments,
some of them time-intensive "works...

99% OT - what's been going on... by
Cheryl Isaak
Well, Senior Week and HS graduation have been and gone. I really didn't see
much of DS all week. He's been traveling with his pack of male buddies and
one of them has a house that seems to accommodate large numbers; that poor
mother. Nightly "sleepovers" and feeds them too. I feed 3 of them along...

:( and major tears by
lewmew
I have been working on the BOAF ladies of the seasons and, in order to
make sure I actually do all four, I've been working on my least
favortie, L'Otomne. I am alway meticulous about keeping my material
and hands clean as I work, so I don't need to wash the project when
finished.
Apparently, at...
