Thoughts on Merchant Accounts? by
Karen_AZ
I'll keep this short (for once G). I'm having a growing discontent with
Paypal, for a number of reasons. In addition, I'm going to start doing shows
again this fall, and I'd like to be able to handle credit card & debit card
sales. I'd very much appreciate anyone's insight, experience and advice...

Oh My God - a mothering crisis by
Marisa Cappetta
Are you making the dress, Kathy? If you allow extra seam allowance (I allow
an extra 3cm), make the dress out of unbleached calico using the largest
stitch length, make all the necessary seam adjustments and/or body length
adjustments (I have to shorten the body on almost all patterns for myself)...

Self-merchandising pieces was: Decisions, Decisions by
Sjpolyclay
Kathy, these merchandising tips are fabulous.
So, I think you are maybe feeling a little bit OK, since you are able to be
getting stuff like this done? I sure hope so.

Dancing With The Muse - OT by
Tink
So many things seem to get in the way of 'creative flow' --- Worrying about
health, about bills... The dishes need doing, as does the laundry... Gotta
clean the litterbox... The puppy thinks she has to pee AGAIN... I get to the
point where I sit at the torch frozen. Unable to tap into any creative...

bluemaxx
Can lampworked beads be repaired... say if a thin stringer came off
an area... or if a dot/bump came off the bead when the bead was
dropped? TIA. :)

New Website by
DRAGONSWIRE
I'm just starting a website and aam looking for some feedback. I crochet
with wire and incorporate all types of beads from semi-precious stones and
pearls to Swarovski Crystals. The site is still under-construction. I need
to link my thumbnails to detail views and add items to catigories that...

Hallowe'en: OT by
Tink
Ok. We admit it. We're Hallowe'en junkies. And this is the first time we've
lived in a real honest to goodness neighborhood where kids go trick or
treating. We both moved from the boondocks to an apartment building.
Ahhhh... Yet another benefit of having a house in an actual neighborhood!
Today...

can you use a PMC kiln for glass annealing? by
Pam
when they say the kiln fuses glass - does that also imply that it will
anneal glass beads?
(I'm looking at the PMC Kiln in the riogrande catalog, pg. 12 - wondering if
there is a better option that will do both glass bead annealing and PMC?)
thanks :)

A good day by
Christina Peterson
Day before yesterday I got an extra bead from Tracey Waddey (OCD), because
she thought I hadn't paid her but I had. A cute little pumpkin. Darling,,
but what to do with an orange bead.
So today I finished with it. A necklace of orange and golds, with brown too
even -- a first. Also all full of...
