LF: Small Golfing Cross Stitch patterns by AB
Hi I'm looking for a smallish, easy pattern with a golf theme. I want to make a christmas ornament for a friend, and put their name on it. Does anyone know where I can get such a pattern for free? I have searched the net extensively, without any luck. Thanks!

Query about a BOOK by The YARNWRIGHT
There's a book out there entitled "Knitting in the Old Way".... and I'm wondering if it has Continental/German style knitting or English/American style in it? TIA Noreen -- http://noreensknitche.com/gathering http://www.noreensknitche.com/cont_fans/

Knitting question - pattern stitch by Nanci E Donacki
I am working on some slippers for Christmas presents and can across somthing I'm unfamiliar with. The cuff of the slipper can be worked in either garter stitch, seed stitch or moss stitch. I've never seen moss stitch, and I would like to try it. Does anyone know how that is done? Thanks. -ned

New to Socks by Bob & Carol
I have always avoided knitting socks because I REALLY hate DP needles; however, now the new sock yarns have 'inspired' me. Any suggestions from the pros out there on patterns I might be able to 'tolerate'? Thanks, Carol

I tried twice to answer you private, but the mails bounced back both times. I didn't say much more than I told here, so you did not miss too much! LOL! But now I'll try to send from my "NOT Hotmail-addy", just as a test, so we will see what happens! AUD ;-)

Taking a break for a while... likely be back tomorrow. by MRH
Along with the continuous aches in my back and tenderness in my stomach, I am also very drained and tired out.... so I am off for the night. It's been about four hours since I ate, so I *should* be able to lay down part way anyway and just relax. Take care all. Gemini
