Jan: Thanks for the report. I will keep my eye out for Jane Kennedy quilts. It is inspiring to see good MQ done on regular home machines. LOL about the LA quilter ... you need to make up business cards to hand out. Would have been fun to see her face when she received one!! PAT in VA/USA Jan wrote:

Path Through Jerusalem by NightMist
I've a notion to make my mom a quilt. I know that this is a hazard, being as how she generally has always felt about homemade, but there you go. I was thinking of a Path Through Jerusalem quilt, problem being that I haven't seen one for at least 20 years, though I saw several as a kid traveling...

OT - Sorta Not - Just when you thought there was nothing left to quilt - Long by WitchyStitcher
We had a snow day today, which was very surprising, since we really didn't have snow. But, I guess they had to make the call by 4 am and then it was snowing hard and they were predicting snow and sleet and ice. Well, my principal asked me to recreate a project I did last year and she lost. I had...

Pieced or unpieced on the bottom? by Susan Laity Price
In Edna's post about uneven flying geese there was a discussion about which should be on the bottom, the pieced section or the unpieced section. I have always heard that the larger (in this case longer) piece should be on the bottom because the feed dogs help ease in the extra fabric. Alex Anderson...
