LOUET LOOM FOR SALE by Bud and Jo
Wow, who would have thought an innocent attempt to sell a loom could have caused so much dissention. This is a new web-site for me and I was merrily going along my way enjoying the recommendations of where to buy yarns etc. It never entered my wee head that someone touting where to purchase yarns...

That "special case" UFO by Slinky
Has just been relegated to the frogpond. It is a circular afghan on #8 needles in Brown Sheep Cotton Fine. I'm up to about 2500 stitches and the freaking thing is barely 4' across, and I've got 6 skeins of yarn left, plus the two balls I'm working now. Ribbit! Ribbit!

mom by norma woods
Hi group, the doc was just here and seems pleased with Mom'[s progress. He said she was doing better here than if she'd been in hospital. Still some crackling in her chest, but there is improvement. Star love, Norma

Mom & Sis/colour - ouch by norma woods
Mom is coming along slowly, and Sis will be in hospital for at least now. They want a cardiologist to see her, and then I'm guessing that she will have to stay for more tests. You all are doing a great job with the prayers. Will you keep it up for a while longer, please? The other day, when Mom...

I am a happy, happy fiber junkie this week. My parents (who really shouldn't have done this, they don't have lots of money) went and bought me an Ashford Kiwi and a lovely pear takhi spindle and bowl for Christmas. My first wheel - for that matter, my first spindle that I didn't make myself! I...

Has anyone ever made a doily or a table runner for a coffee table out of yarn? I am not able to crochet well enough using crochet cotton and those small needles. I was wondering how it would look. If you haven't, maybe you can give me your opinions. Would it look better if I used sport...
