I believe people who lick their floss are also machine stitchers. *How
else do you manage to thread a sewing machine, except by wetting the thread?

Re ABC Stitch Therapy by

I am pretty sure that Cheryl has been to the real place a few times. I
have meant to, when I was in NH the last few summers, but haven't made
it yet. It IS a brick and mortar store, and apparently has a bunch of
things one just cannot live without.
My 2 cents..

New stitchy book by
Joan Erickson
A new book has just come through our library that looks rather
interesting. It's called, "The needlecraft style directory" by Sarah
Whittle (ISBN 9781438001036), "a visual reference of over 50 needlecraft
styles and the stitches that go with them." It has pretty good stitch
diagrams and lists...

I came to the computer with a list of things to look up/people to write

Went for groceries this morning. Big mistake. The place was mobbed.
Note to self -- next year go DURING the game.

Finally, a finish by

Between being sick and scattering my time among projects, it's been a
while since I finished anything.
It's a cute little npt angel ornament meant to roll into a cone, but now
I have to figure out how to finish it -- as is, or do I glue it to
cardboard first? And how do I "hem up her...

For those who are no-mail on that group, EGA has decided to shut down
their YahooGroup and force everyone to read from the website. Small
problem, your login is your EGA membership number, so if your membership
has lapsed (as mine has), you can no longer participate in the group.

Book to recommend - even though I'm still in the middle of it. The Ruins
of Lace is about the lace trade in 17th century France and Flanders
Even the story switches point of view, it flows ago nicely.
It is frightening what people did for lace and worse to the lace makers
