Cherry Ripe thunk by
elspeth
Just returned from 10 days in Denmark with my homesick DH and found a sweet
thunkie from Australia waiting for me. Cherry Ripe is just so delightful! A
million thanks for such a sweet surprise.
Thunker, please email me so I am positive I have the right person and tell
me -- do you like...

Lots of Free Agent Messages by
Sally Swindells
All better now. After a little spate of downloading 55,000 (most of
last year's messages) every time I asked it to 'download new
messages', Free Agent is now better.
Must have been 'Them'! but it did frighten me - at first I thought you
had all been very busy! Sometimes I get 200 in a day, but...

I think she did a pretty awesome job for a first timer.
Please leave her words of encouragement on the gallery if you...

Lee's surrender quilt by
judy in fort worth
I am reading a great book, The Promise Quilt, to my fourth graders who are
studying the Civil War and its aftermath. In the book, the mother makes a
quilt named Lee's Surrender. I would like to show my kiddos what this quilt
would look like (not a good illustration of the quilt in the book). ...

White quilt? by
LH
A dear friend has said that she would like a quilt made from different
white fabrics. Could there be such a thing as a patchwork quilt in
shades of white? Sounds pretty far out to me. I think she wants a
whole cloth quilt but I don't quilt so she may be out of luck.

Something to sew? by
Janner
I need ideas on something lightweight, can be pieced by hand and I won't
get fed up with it!
I need something to take with me to sew, when we move house and
everything is going in to storage - yes even my beloved stash!
I was thinking of maybe cutting 2 1/2" strips, and make a log cabin
quilt. I...

Fabric for Virginians and other Hokies by
Pat in Virginia
Yesterday I found some really cool Virginia
Tech cotton fabric at Wal-Mart. It features
the VT symbol and the Fighting Gobbler, AKA
the Hokie Bird. It is by Sykel Enterprises,
Pattern # VT020CT (C) 2006 Virginia Tech.

info!) I bought enough for a Dog...
