help me locate it please. by L. Kelly
Here is a pattern that is very similar. It would not take much imagination to add the tongue piece on the front, then just increase the length of the strap a bit to go through it. http://pages.ivillage.com/patt_m/id8.html -- Hugs, Lynn

Hi Karen, The suncatches are those things that you hang in the window. DH was in AC Moore and happened to see two that he liked. They have to be painted, something like paint by number, real easy and quick to do, I did both of them within an hour. Let's just say it wasn't my most favorite thing...

A question of dyeing... by Sue Carlson Dunn
I have a couple of cones of very fine cashmere yarn in a really dull pale yellow colour, and would like to have a go at hand dying them - possibly painting on dye or dipping to make a variegated effect. I know that they will need to be wound into hanks for this, but if any of our dyed-in-the-wool...

I'm new & here's my intro by Medium Gnome
Near 40, live in NJ with DH and DD6. Taught to knit by mother and grandmother at about age 8. Have a teeny yarn stash but needles galore. Love to knit, like crochet. Advice: Never chose a knitting magazine for bedtime reading.
