Video of how to make a pom pom. by Bricore
Just wanted to let you know that I updated my blog today with a new short video on how to make a pom pom. I know a lot of people know how to do it but some don't. That's why I posted it (and I read someone's blog the other day that said that she just couldn't make one. I told her that I would put a...

Snoods/Hair nets by [email protected]
I am trying to find a free pattern for either a snood or hair net. Based during the civil war era. I was told I would be able to find at least one free pattern online, but so far I have not been able to find one. If someone could help me with this I would be very greatful. Thanks, Donna

Sunday morning by Erin
Well, technically it isn't morning anymore here in scenic Ulricehamn, Sweden. No matter. I still have to ride about on my bike and stuff advertising circulars in people's mailboxes (my part-time job) but the weather is lovely with sunshine and warm air. Then I can spend the rest of the day sewing...

Sunday morning (GMT-6) by WoolyGooly
Or maybe I'm GMT-7 now, the time change always messes with me. At any rate: I'm working the edging on the endless Pi shawl. I had to chart the edging, then reverse the chart so it would work as sidewise applied edging. Progress happens, but it isn't fast. Socks in the truck, small boy's...

Felted "little treasures" by Erin
Hej! I've been interested in these http://www.fireandfiberart.com/Fiber/pages/Treasures.htm since I first read about them on rctq but decided to try making them from felt instead. I enlarged the pattern a bit (to be the size of an A4 sheet of paper) as well. They are still small enough that I...

I would be knitting but I've run out of yarn for my current project and I have to spin some more, which in turns means I have to card some more and I'm just not feeling that enthusiastic...

Moebious by Chapala Cheryl
I would like to knit a moebious, but I do not understand why the directions tell you to cast on half of the stitches and then pick up from those stitches for the second half. Is it not possible to cast on all the stitches and then join the first and last stitches?

How to repair a missed slip stitch by hesira
Hi Guys. I guess I'm doing short rows on a shawl shaped collar. I knit a certain number of stitches, turn and slip the 1st stitch on the WS, knit to the end and on the next RS knit 5 stitches further than the previous RS. I realized I forgot to slip a stitch about 4 rows back. Would I unravel...
