Anchor Perle Twist? by
Threaded
Greetings All -
Has anyone else experienced a noticeable twist with
Anchor #5 perele? I'm doing a hardanger piece with
Vienna cloth (probably the problem there, too), and
it seems that I have to slightly slant the piece in order
for it to look straight. I've never encountered the problem,
but...

linen help by
Xstchsnoopy04
I ordered, sampler 4 saisons by anagram diffusion.
http://www.wyndhamneedleworks.com/Anagram_Diffusion/sampler_4_saisons.htm
It uses only 2 dmc colors.... 498 and 712.
Any suggestions on fabric. It is only sold as a pattern in the US and
doesn't say what is used.
I went to the local shop today...

A lesson in Posting to this group: by

New Mirabilia by
sunflower
I'm on the Mirabilia email list and got notification today that the new
design, "Archangel" (#81) was out.
I like it - but as usual, would pick a different ground fabric so the colors
'popped' more. (IMO of course)

Gillian's Coffee by
Fred
Nurse Avis was making rounds one morning with a physician when she was
interrupted by a co-worker who inquired about a patient's diet. Avis's
co-worker said, "Gillian H. does nothing but complain about her food and for
starters she says the coffee
tastes like mud."

Tia Mary-remove nekoluvr to reply
Hi Guys,
I am back from CATS - HERSHEY and have read all the posts about the Angel --
in between bouts of loving on the kitties of course. WOW -- does the Angel
look purty!!!!
I want to remind everyone that MEREDITH is back in the rotation. I read her
post about being back but never saw anyone...

OK, everyone forward this to and complain that DogBreath is
stinking up our newsgroup again. If enough of us complain, he'll lose his

Might I suggest we all take up a collection to replace the stolen money
and send it to Pat's daughter, care of Pat? Anyone who wants to, please
e-mail me, and I can either convert it to pounds sterling, or we could
all send to Pat separately?

A few months ago, one of the more puter savvy folks told me how to set up
filters to keep out the porn. They must be working TOO well, as virtually
every post is filtered out! How to I change it back?

Firehouse Angel Visiting Maine! by
CLPINKHAM
Just thought I'd let everyone know that the Angel has safely arrived in Maine.
She was hand delivered to my DH who was out in the yard raking leaves when the
postlady drove up. Took a bit of time to get her unsealed and had to have my
son (with skinner arms) reach in and get out the pattern.
I...

OT OT The things we save by
Cheryl Isaak
My father in law passed away about 5 years ago and over the next year, we
packed up his house; the final push was just before the house was sold. My
mother and sister came help. All these years later, these boxes are sitting
in the basement and I am picking at them to get them out of there....
