Pricing a wire wrap gold/amethyst ring by
Jim Caldwell
I am making some wire-wrap rings to sell at craft shows. My cost breaks down
like this: 3 dollars for the 14KT square gold-filled wire, 25.00 for the
AAA grade Amethyst 18x13 oval cut stone. I think I paid about 5.00 shipping,
so that is abt $33 total cost. Later on, if I can start buying in qty,...

Can spinel withstand heat? by
lemel_man

white spinels all round. It has sentimental value as it was the owner's
grandmother's. The mod would be no problem had the stones been diamonds,
but the prospect of removing and replacing all these little things is
not...

Small electronics the a new jewelry form by
mbstevens
Lots of people are wearing them clipped onto their
clothes or on their belts. Ipods, Iphones, MP3
players, tiny internet devices -- and most are=20
now slickly styled. For the kitschily inclined,
you can even get them covered=20
with rhinestones. So, most now function as more
than just...

I have had this necklace quite a few years now. I bought it at an estate
sale. I don't know a thing about it still, even after searching thru web
sites.
I was once told the chain is copper and I assume that the blue stone is cut
glass..but if anyone can add a little insight I would appreciate it....
