Harry Potter Style Market Stall by
emma J
Please help - I need help to find supplies for a market stall I am making.
After being hooked on the latest Harry Potter book, I thought it a good idea
to produce a market stall in the style of a shop from Diagon Alley from
Harry Pottter.
I'm looking for crystal balls, black cats, potion bottles,...

Which glue for glass tiles? by
Cathy Weeks
Hi all,
My mini-mosaic (3/8" square) tiles arrived by UPS this morning, and
now I can start on the bathroom floor. They are beautiful.
So, what glue do I use to stick the tiles to a posterboard backing?
Elmer's Glue all or Tacky Glue?

Deb Drake
I paint miniature paintings and plant pots (dollhouse sized) and am
looking for suggestions as to how I might go about selling them. Have
done ebay and started doing shows (unfortunately not that many shows
locally) and would be interested in doing wholesale for a shop or
something simular - but...

How to make printables? by
Kathy
I want to learn how to make printable projects. I have a scanner, a
digital camera, & Paint Shop Pro. I have no clue how to shrink images
down without losing detail, tried, with miserable results. I just want
to make things to play with myself, & share for free. I don't need to
make commercial...

How new can you get? by
Jackie T
I'm just starting out with this hobby - literally, just assembling my first
house kit.
I've read through the FAQ resources & many of the past messages, but I can't
see the answer to my question, which is:
If I buy a doll figure to go in my house (paying about £20) will I be able
to change her...

Wow....staining is kinda fun by
Cathy Weeks
I finished the first of the several floors I'm doing with coffee
stirrers, and after sanding it, I applied a cherry stain. It looks
really pretty, and the inevitable gaps have nearly disappeared... the
reddish brown stain matches the background paint I used, so the gaps
are much less noticible now...

Bragging rights! Mom's in Dollhouse Miantures! by
fran
My mom got her Wooten desks written up in the March issue of Dollhouse
Miniatures! I am proud to say that not only did I get her started in
miniatures a million years ago, but I'm also the one who got her going
on the desks. I have the dogwood desk (the light colored one in the
photo), and have...

Mistakes already! How to fix? by
Cathy Weeks
Sigh... the fact that I've already built on dollhouse doesn't count
for much it seems, especially when I built it 12 years ago because
this very simple RGT Victorian Jr already has mistakes.
I primed the housebody and painted the exterior, but didn't pay enough
attention to the instructions where...

sconces and coach lamps by
Cathy Weeks
Ok... I need to run the wiring tape, and I have no fixtures to test
with. I'll get the fixtures in April.
Now, here are my problems:
1. How do I attach exterior coach lamps?
I know that I'll run the tape around the top of the front door, on the
inside. I also know that I'll have to drill...

Hi, new builder by
lucy-lu
Hi all
I am just completing the plans for my first house that I'm going to build
for my daughter. She's only a baby at the moment, but I want to take my
time, do it properly and present it to her when she's much much older.
I was just wondering if you guys had any tips for me?
Thanks :)
