OT - another old groaner... by
Bruce[_4_]
A mechanic who worked out of his home had a dog named Mace. Mace had a
bad habit of eating all the grass on the mechanic's lawn, so the
mechanic had to keep Mace inside. The grass eventually became overgrown.
One day the mechanic was working on a car in the backyard and dropped
his wrench,...

Tia Mary-remove nekoluvr to reply
Hi Guys,
OK -- I have checked Babys-R-Us trying to find the fencing that you can use
to make a play pen area inside the house for a baby and couldn't find it.
Does anyone out there have this stuff and WHAT is it called? I tried to Google
Baby Fence and got a lot on bay gates. Those I can buy at...

Woodlawn, & For Sue H. by
Ellice K.
Well, yesterday was the day that Donna's & my EGA chapter hostessed at
Woodlawn. The exhibit had lots of small items this year, some stunning
beadwork, stumpwork, samplers, and everything else. In the "hand sewing"
room there was a lovely christening gown which had been made from the
grandmothers...

I'm trying to update my email address on all my subscriptions. Does
anyone know what happened to Classic Stitches? I used to get their
newsletter but haven't for quite awhile. The website I had doesn't
work anymore (www.classicstitches.com) and I can't seem to find them
with google.
Any help...

Magazine Article - attn: Ellice by
Donna
Wow. I got off the phone with Ellice yesterday and forgot to tell her
that Orna Willis wrote an article in Needlepoint Now about the class
that Ellice took with her at ANG Seminar last year.
Orna did not mention names.

OT - cookery by
Bruce[_4_]
In a recipe it said "seperate two eggs" but it didn't tell me how far
apart they have to be. I must be a bad cook because I boil my eggs for
hours and they're STILL hard!

Update on wedding sampler lettering dilemma by
Kalmia
Well, I let too much time go by, the canvas I had at home was too
fine, the stash I had produced the wrong colors, and I just don't feel
like driving 60 miles for the supplies I'd need, or play the order and
sweat their arrival game......so I've decided to just give them a very
practical house type...

RCTN Posts by
Janet[_3_]
I've been thinking lately about the decline in the number of posts on
RCTN. do you think people have migrated to Yahoo groups? I've
recently joined several and there is a lot of participation there.
What groups are y'all in?
Just curious,
Janet

reading recommendation by
The Lady Gardener[_3_]
I've just finished listening to "the pastor's wife" by Elizabeth von Arnim,
and it is utterly sensational.
I was amazed to find it was written some 97 years ago - to my mind the
issues seemed as relevant today as they ever did, and I recommend it to
anyone looking for a wonderfully written book...

New Finish & Photos by
The Lady Gardener[_3_]
Yeah, finally finished my online class project, and photos posted on RCTNP.
The original design of the project can be seen here
http://frommerrysheart.com/index.php/online-classes (second one down).
I've totally changed the design, my thoughts on the artistic merit of the
original design were...
