Clear liquid grumpy hedoublehockeysticks by SGC
Clear liquids all day today, plus the "purge" ucky stuff. I don't care what they say, there is NO way to improve the taste of Fleet phospho-soda. After having 3 of these procedures before the age of 35 -- The Fleet phospho-soda is slightly easier to get down if it's cold (this was the 1st...

Find among the stuff by Cheryl Isaak
When we cleaned out a closet recently, there was old sewing box. I found a pair of scissors in it - they look really old, but they cut well. There is a mark, C & RL inside an oval stamped on them. Kind of neat - I have to wonder if they came from Germany with my MIL. Cheryl

International Stash Enhancement! by Jenn Liace
One of my bosses went to London for a week's vacation last week. This particular gentleman knows of my love for needle and thread, and in fact with a bit of anonymous prompting got me a chart of Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night" for Christmas last year. I walked into the office today after taking...

Items looking for a new home by Dannielle
I have two books: Floral Iron-On Transfer Patterns and Alphabet Iron-On Transfer Patterns, both from the Dover Needlework Series, edited by Rita Weiss. They are looking for a new home. I got them used, and I saw a couple of the flower ones that were cut out, but not many. The alphabet one seems...

Please can anyone tell me the best cross stitch computer program to buy? I do not want to waste money on too simple a program, but neither am I a professional. I suppose up to $100 would be OK. Thanks Marie

Stitching happened by Mlle Ilvesvuori
Hi everyone! How are you? I am fine. I had an educational trip yesterday. My co-workers (at least some of them) and me, we went to Oulu. Our boss Tiina came along. First into Kiiminki. There was the local workshop for young people. It wasn't like ours. But it had its needlework side. Their space...

Stitching while on a cruise by Cheryl Isaak
DH and I are going on a cruise at the end of the month - my DM is coming to watch the kids. I've pretty much decided not to bring a project in my carry on; I don't want to lose scissors, needles or my clover cutter. Local airport is known to be pretty strict. So - I think I want to bring...
