Dragonfly Cane by
Juanita Floyd
I finally managed to try something I had wanted to. I made a dragonfly cane.
It's the first time I made a cane like that from my head and not from someone's
instructions. It's OK for a first attempt. I have scads of it so I put a piece
of it for sale on e Bay if anyone wants to see it.
Thanks and...

Looking For Textured Sheets Sources in Canada by
thequietcamper
This is a great site. I cannot remember where I saw it, but the polymer
artist/creator was using a **flower** textured sheet along with polymer clay
in a pasta maker and then proceeded to make beads from the designed/textured
and beautifully coloured polymer. The results were spectacular.

Compact kits by
Larry Rubin
Hi All!
For those who have expressed interest in compact kits(the mirror
type)...
Tuesday I cleared the compacts through Customs. The pictures are now
posted on the website, although the pictures aren't great. The
compacts however look great! (I am biased though).
Each compact is round, and...

Polishing clay beads by
DianeGlassAttic
I make small beads
and it's very hard to polish them. Is there something you can do besides
hand-rubbing these beads to make them look finished?
Check out the info I have for one quicker way on this page ...using a
Scumbuster in a shallow bowl of water with the beads (or possibly a...

fossils and faux fossils by
PoRRo
Few weeks ago I bought some ammonite fossil slices from Shelley, and got to
see in real life how they are inside. I had some ammonites here, but I have
not seen the insides anywhere else than in the books and net. Now that I saw
them, I knew I had to try to cane them. I made the cane and some beads...

Nifty Beads from Button Molds by
Juanita Floyd
I just listed some beads I made from molds of vintage buttons. I used the Alley
Goop mold making stuff and was really pleased I had a button of my
Grandmother's that looked like carved ivory and I used the jade granitex clay
to get something that looks like carved jade. Very fun!
I have some of...
