Hot Flashes Question by
\Pussywillow\ Volfie
Okay, question for anyone else who's doing this quilt: is each individual
block supposed to be 15" sq or 15-1/2"? The directions on each page say 15"
*finished* which makes me wonder is she meant when that particular block was
finished or when it was finished into the quilt.

Schmetz SM Needles by
Pat in Virginia
Earlier this month I had Pfilomina Pfaff serviced.
A message was included with the SM statement. I
think this information might be useful to anyone
who uses Schmetz needles. FYI:
"Your machine has a new Schmetz Universal 80/12
needle. This needle is used with Mettler
Silk-Finish or Metrosene...

OT Prayer Need by
NanaV
Please remember a friend of mine in your prayers. Sonya gave birth today to
boy/girl twins and neither survived. Her husband is in Europe on business
and trying desperately to get home quickly. They have no family support in
the area.
Thanks

More S.E.X. in a different city... by
Kate Dicey
Stinky cold from Hell notwithstanding, I did get to the shop today!
Picked up my fixed serger, and 3 and a half m of Warm & Natural needled
cotton batting. James remarked that it was expensive, so Wilf and I
both said it was the best, and did he expect *ME* to buy anything else
for his quilt?

wrong in surgery? Well, I worry about them all in the days leading up to...

A question about applique by
Valerie in FL
Has anyone ever satin-stiched an applique onto a quilt sandwich? It seems to
me that if you want to use satin-stitch, you'd need to do it with just the
quilt top. Then, of course, you'd have quilt around it, which would be a
pain. If I hand stitch the applique, then I can do it on the sandwich...
