Ok, guys (Aud) I hve the heel done. Now it says to pick across the heel, then pick up 16 stitches on the side of the heel. Then it says to knit across the top of the foot. What do I do with the 16 stitches I picked up. Are they supposed to be knitted? It didn't say to pick up each one and knit it,...

?? Is something knit on a manual knitting machine "hand knit"? by
I am seeing items made on knitting frames, i.e., manual knitting machines, labeled as "hand knit". Is this legal, or fair and proper? And, are there stitches, designs, or patterns that can not be "machine knit" and thus demonstrate to knowledgably people that the object was knit with needle in...

Hey all. It me Pam-Doggirl3 by ILovemyDoggie.
Norma know about this one. I was trying to make a square it it kept going into a circle. But it then got worse. I finally almost made a square then it went into a curve wave motion. Otherword, I stink at square making. I did what the pattern called for. It called for a dc action. It didn't ever go...

Looooong crochet hook by Deb Hayes
I am new here, to find the answer for a friend who loves to crochet. What she wants to do is, using the afghan stitch, to make an afghan as one large panel. Is there a manufacturer who makes a very, very long hook for such a project? Is there some intrinsic problem that would make it...

I've started the tulip heel. (they have to be teal blue, the only spare yarn I've got that won't clash with the pink sock.) and so far so good. when I get that part done, I'll try to take a picture. -- In Star love and friendship, Norma Woods D.D.G.M. District 21

Hi all, This Sunday morning, I'm looking out and seeing something more and more rare in Arizona, snow on the ground! Phoenix got some that stuck on the ground for a while, too, but I'm in middle to northern AZ, and we don't get snow around here like we used to. I'm happy, because I have new...
