goofy Canadian moose..... by
Molvik Family
I was teasing about the misspelling. Seeing bears up there doesn't surprise
me. Even though I'm "cityfolk" I'd keep my little 'uns (dogs, cats, kids,
etc.) inside or in sight too.

Happy Canada Day by
Katherine
Thank you, Nora. I had a lovely Canada Day - lots of baby cuddles,
and a minimum of temper tantrums. g
Hope the rest of the Canucks had a great day, too.

Slinky - Yarn Exchange by
SlinkyToy
Um. You STILL don't get it, do you? Any yarn exchange I host through THIS
USENET group has nothing whatsoever to do with any Yahoogroup, especially
one to which I don't subscribe.

New RCTY group starting by
G.Kelly
Hello everyone, I have MSN and hot mail and find them excellent - lots of
spam which they throw into bulk mail and delete each week , so I do not
actually have to look at it. I have a yahoo account and use it purely as
an account to send greeting cards. because they have a better choice.

Taught my girlfriend to crochet yesterday by
Cheryl Isaak
She was looking to do an afghan for her grandmother and bought a kit out of
Herrsheners - with out knowing how to make a granny square. I grabbed some
yarn and one of the hooks that comes with the kit and showed her how to
chain and make double crochets. Then, the basics of the granny square.
I...

My gawd, that subject line does appear kinky, doesn't it?
But, I've just realized, it 'could have' been worse... for instance,
being that lots of us crochet... the subject line 'might have' been:
WIP's, chains,...

Well, I have another idea that I'll run by all

email note, if any one wanted to contribute

and I'll get the postal money
order
and mail it to her. How does this sound?

Quick note from Noreen by
Noreen's Knit*che
Hi RCTY! I've spent entirely too much time on the internet or in
front of the computer these past few days, and am paying dearly for it
with my eyes and with my wrist.
We have a 'showing' of the house Thursday, so I need to do some
tidying up... and I think a day away from the computer is in...

Ok - JJ first - JJ, I'll take on the organization, and congrats for having such
a great idea! (and Nora for adding impetus with enthusiasm.)
Cher and Gwen - Gemini went offline for a while to save some money, in addition
to general exhaustion. She needed some rest, as she put it, but said not...

LOL - That's pretty funny. I guess Adam and I are getting fruit this year!
Yeppie!!!

When we'd been married nineteen years, one of my sisters sent us an
anniversary card by the great Sandra Boynton, with a list of those
in-between ones. I still have it, it's such a stitch. ...
