Help for German yarn by
Johanna Koski
I only need two balls, could someone be so kind to find them from me in
a EU country? IŽll refund all the expenses.
The yarn is ONline Playa colour 103 (blue jeans).
If you can't get it anywhere else, I'll mail to one quiltingfriend I
have in Germany, maybe she can help you. Drop me mail...

Question on "Continental " and "English" knitting techniques by
SlinkyToy
Most people knit a different gauge with each hand. Nothing to worry about,
as long as you don't try to convince us that you ALWAYS knit to gauge with
the recommended needles and yarn :)

Noro yarn help please! by
Dannielle Beitzell
Well, I just finished this morning. I took the whole thing apart after
reading all of your suggestions here and started over again. Now it is a
full two skeins long in a wonderful looking seed stitch (which I had to do
several times before I got it right) and it lays flat and looks wonderful!
Now...

Discussion Topic: Knitting and Purling by
CMM PDX2
Never noticed any difference - and I've looked, too! g I've also checked the
different sections on items partly knit back-and-forth, and partly knit in the
round. That because of experts saying your gauge knitting in the round is
usually looser than knitting flat.
Well, I must be strange; I...

Improving stainless steel knitting needles. by

I have found that by abrading a band behind the points of my commercial SS
knitting needles I can vastly improve their usability and "friendliness."
With the improved needles, my problems with dropped stitches disappears and
my knitting speed significantly improves. In addition, tight stitches...

help with reading a pattern by
Laurie
This is for a crochet sweater but the confusion isn't in the crochet
technique, it is in the pattern so you knitters may be able to answer
my question too.
I'm crocheting a lovely cable cardigan. A Leisure Arts pattern
(Classic Crocheted Cardigans). As with most patterns, there are
instructions...

Hey Noreen by
SlinkyToy
FWIW, I knit 2-ply laceweight yarn on 4mm needles. I'm a tight knitter.
I'd probably knit cobweb on 3.5mm needles.
YMMV of course ;)
