Margaret St. John
Hi all,
Cheryl I. asked me to post for her. She still doesn't have her power back.

Good read by
lewmew
Just finished Fractured by Karen Slaughter. Pretty good story and a
couple of interesting characters I hope we'll see more of. If you're
looking for something to read on a cold winter night, I recommend it.

My current project is a free style/surface embroidery interpretation of Alma
Lynn's Fannie Flosswinder which can be seen at:

is off white cotton with a not too intrusive pattern. Rather than covering the

Stash knowledge - part 2 by
anne
This morning I went hunting for a Judith Baker Montano Crazy Quilt stitching
book. I found it but it wasn't where I thought it should be. How are your books
organized? Most of mine are arranged by technique and then by author or title,
although all my A-Z books are together.

Although I've got a lot of stuff, it is nowhere near what long term stitchers
have accumulated. Yesterday, I wanted to experiment with angelina fibers and
couldn't find them. I emptied almost all the drawers and they were still
hiding. Imagine my surprise when I turned around and saw them on the...

Santa purses by
alicia in Hawaii
Merry Christmas...or Happy Holidays....!!!
I completed 2 little Santa purses for 2 great little girls.
These are crochet...with embroidered faces. I opted out of the
buttons and pompoms because the kids are still really young.
We added some McDonald's Arch cards for them...so that the
purse would...

Working with VeryVelvet by
chanab
I'm working on a painted canvas needlepoint and I bought some Very Velvet
thread for the curtains on the picture. Can someone tell me a good stitch
to use as the thread seems very thin and the canvas shows through no
matter what basic stitch I use.

looking for perforated paper santa patterns or kits by
[email protected]
Hi--
I am trying to complete my collection of the perforated paper santas
created by Sandy (Sandra) Cozzolino. They were first published by
Willmaur Crafts, then Bucilla, then Janlynn, and are currently put out
by Mill Hill.
The ones I am looking for are the older ones. If you know a shop...

Can someone help me with a pattern? by
pecan[_3_]
It's been a good few years since I last posted here! Since then much
has happened, including a new nephew.
I've spent the entire day today searching for an interesting pattern for
a 2-year old boy, and haven't found anything that "speaks to me". Does
anyone have a pattern for me - preferably...

The problem is apparently with verizon. Comcast knows about it and says
they have a report that there is some kind of server outage. I also checked
with comcast's newsgroup and apparently this is a big problem all over the

He suggested that you call verizon and...

Looking for a crochet pattern - star baby quilt by
Elisa
I have been looking for this pattern for a while now. Officially it
was called Caron Heirloom Crochet Quilt. I printed the pattern from
Craftopia.com in July of 2000. It consists of many ( more than 50)
pieces in different baby shades of the now discontinued Caron
Cuddlesoft Yarn.
Last year I...
