quest to find a supplyer of the bullion wire. I really don't want to
destroy any more old pieces to canabalize the wire, plus I want the
nice new bright metal...

Hello everyone,
I used to be a member of the group back in the 90's.....had a blue T-
shirt even! Long story...stopped stitching for a while...hopefully I
am back...for good. I will be lurking for a while. I have a lot to
catch up on...especially the WIPs.

"Stitcher's Wonder" floor stand? by
Stitcher in Minneapolis
I'm researching floor stands for needlework. I already own a large set
of scroll frames (from Tomorrow's Treasures) so I want something that
will hold my existing frames. I do have a TT lap stand, so I have a
sidebar with holes drilled through from that.
I've come across the Stitcher's Wonder...

"Thread Heaven" & metallics by
thistletoes
I ran across this site, advertising a conditioner for threads that
tangle and fray easily, such as metallics, blending filaments. Has
anyone used this product? Has anyone got a different, maybe simpler
way of handling these fragile threads? Take a look...

'Tis the annual posting..... by
Karen C
Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was
manufactured in England. In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars
of the condiment scheduled for delivery on May 5th in Vera Cruz, Mexico,
which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop

'Unique' stretcher bars by

Last year at a local quilt show, I bought a Laurel Burch panel that said
'embellish the heck out of me' After a stitching marathon of baby
designs, it spoke to me again "do me... do me."
When I looked at it, I decided that I didn't want to enhance the entire
picture and pulled out several...
