Sunday morning by Gwen
Since I have announced my return I figured that I would wish every one a good Sunday morning. What am I doing? catching up. It is a lovely summer morning here and promising to be only about 28c so that is not too hot, Frank has gone "outside" fishing - in our Aussie lingo that means out in...

What is the best way to fix a lace pattern? by [email protected]
I've been working on a lace weight shawl and somehow ended up with an extra 2 stitches in the last row I did. It's at the very beginning of the lace pattern so it's impossible to tell by looking where the mistake is. I am assuming I need to rip out the entire row and start over. Why I keep...

Thought I'd let you know, the original due-date was March 29, and now, basically because of Jacey's size and activity, the USAF Doc's say that Kelley will be full-term a week from tomorrow. Also!!! They got their orders and WILL be stateside in JULY! Kelley got Eglin, Pokey got Hurlbert (Hurlburt?)...

Maybe a stupid question about dishcloths and I'm changing my name by Qintes
All the "Knit/Crochet Dishcloths" booklets I've seen say you have to use 100% cotton yarn. Why is that? Can't I use my handy acrylic stuff? And my name is too boring and common. There are tons of Pams out there. I can get lost in the shuffle. I need a unique name like Mirjam so you don't...

Self-congratulations by Georgia
My task for this morning was to mend two gray sweaters knit of shetland wool. I have mended so many moth holes or wear holes (where I roll up the cuff) in one that it almost didn't matter what I did, but, with the right yarn, a kitchener stitch fix worked fine. THe real challenge was a break at the...
