Best photo sheets, best price? by
Polly Esther
I'm not intending to copy photos of a hundred of my closest relatives but I
do like to be able to make a nice photo block now and then. At graduation,
for example, I had great success copying the grad's invitation, her grad
photo and her baby picture. It is a wonderful addition for a quilt...

Ragmop, I saw your twin! (ON topic) by
Kathy Applebaum
Ragmop, you never told me you had a twin sister living here in California!
As I left the grocery store with lunch today, I saw a burgundy PT Cruiser
parked close to the door. The license plate holder said "Quilting Forever,
Housework Whenever".

NASCAR fabric by
Donna in Idaho
Specifically Kasey Kahne. Has anyone seen either Kasey Kahne fabric or
fleece? Our Project Linius chapter has received a request from one of our
hospitals for a Kasey Kahne blanket for a patient that is admitted quite
often. I asked if generic NASCAR would work, but they said "No, it has to...

Read to Quilt - Need Help with How by
tnhelen
Got the baby quilt all sandwiched together and plan on practicing on
some squares. Have a couple questions.
I am going to SITD the entire quilt, but the blocks are 6 inch blocks
so I will have to do more quilting either in each individual block or
in a grid. So, think the easiest design for me...

Winnetka Show Spotlights Antique Quilts by
Nann Hilyard
(Note from Nann: I suppose that the reporter was given the announcement of
the show and told to make it into a story. Juxtaposing "querulous" and
"quilts" is alliterative, but querulous means "fretful, whining, habitually
complaining" -- rather disagreeable! And "beautiful and...

WitchyStitcher
This weekend I wanted to make a Burgoyne Surrounded block since we
will be studying the Battle of Saratoga next week in the MS 4th grade
my students attend. I went to Quilter's Cache and simplified their
block since it involved 289 pieces for one block. I made it a 34"
square so it became a one...

I was going to do this next week, but it seems a few of you are as anxious
for the season to begin as I am. :)

I set up a webpage with links to our quilting photos --

I intended for this to be a collection of personal webpages so we could
share our efforts.
I've had a request to put two commercial websites in the list. My first
inclination is to refuse. ...
