A few months ago you posted a link to a bag with uneven handles. The long
handle spips throughg the short one, so the bag becomes a pouch. I made two
of them and now have a request for another one. The problem is that my
computer died a wee or so ago and I lost all my collected patterns.
I've...

NQR - Queen of Boxtops says thankyou by
Witchystitcher
I want to thank the wonderful people who have sent me boxtops this
summer. I had a hard drive crash and found that I had backed up more
than I thought I did, but one of the things I didn't back up was the
directory, so I was not able to send individual thank-yous.
There will still be a special...

Any recommendations for a beginning quilter? Sites with directions?
I've looked in my files but the majority of those I think will be a little
too much.

My co-worker does a lot of cross-stitch. She gave me a sandwich sized
bag of bits and pieces of embroidery floss, in all kinds of colors.
Some pretty long pieces.
If anyone wants this, please email me off group - free to the first
person!
Also, last night I made zucchini bread, thanks to one...

I bought a Singer Featherweight at an auction today and have aquestion by
dealer83
Well, we spent the day at a local auction and I bought a great little
Singer Featherweight that came with the case, bobbins, more
attachments than I've ever seen, and even the original green tin oil
can marked 39 cents. I paid $150 for it and got it home and gave it a
test run. It works like a...

getting the DVD. So then all he will have to do is plug in the TV and

Free motion tension problems--help! by
Michelle C.
Took my long awaited (I've been gathering my courage) into free motion
yesterday. While I didn't notice any tension problems on the block I've
been practicing on, I'm having problems with the quilt. It looks okay
on the front, but on the back it's as if the top thread is too loose
(looping...

SM for FMQ by
Michelle C.
Just curious...what machines are you all using for FMQ?
I've got a nice Kenmore. It does straight stitch quilting like a dream.
However, I'm wondering if there might be better choices for FMQ.
Thanks!
