Wig Heads by Floss
All this talk about manequin heads brought back a very funny memory. I hope you ladies get a chuckle out of it. Here goes: Back in the 60's, my mom wore wigs and "falls". She used to store them on the styrofoam wig heads on her dresser. She also used to paint lips and eyes on the forms with...

To my 6x6 partner by Jenn Vanderslice
I am sorry to inform you that I will be unable to make you knitted squares. After an hour's time and ripping out about 5 times before the 10th row, I've called it quits. I fear for the safety of my children if I continue down this dark frustrating road any further. I've have decided on two lovely...

A totally off-the-wall question but not 'really' OT either... by Noreen's Knit*che
Hi group! Remember when lots of ladies owned MANY wigs? They were kept on those styrofoam 'heads' (stands). Where can I get two or three of these in a hurry? Reason: I'd like to use them for displaying Mobius at the Mile- Long-Yard-Sale. TIA, Hugs, Noreen --
