Will Need To Mend Wool Sweater by
[email protected]
I just bought a wool sweater that has a cut in it. Here's a picture of
the cut:
http://i21.ebayimg.com/03/i/06/98/fb/e0_1.JPG
I figured it would be easy to mend with thread but after reading a
little about wool, I wondered if regular thread would work, & wondered
if mending using yarn like...

I saw this and am sure you already know about it, but here it is anyway.
It's the flyer (PDF) for the big tent sale in Listowel;

Need help with pattern knitting directions for a tote by
DAB
Hi I just received a pattern for The Sheep Tote by Bev Galeskas and was

needles #24 got that part done and then it says to knit one more row and do
not turn.
Rotate work and knit up...

Sunday AM and a surprise phone call last night by
YarnWright
Just a quick Sunday AM post: I'm still in the process of fighting
with my domain provider, and have made a switch, which is going to
take a few days. It's a long boring story as to what my domain
registrar DID... but suffice to say, I am royally PO'd.
Anyway, guess what? I got the surprise of...

Where was Lambtown? by
It was hot last week. It was so hot that many of the sheep owners withdrew
from Lambtown, and most of the live sheep events were cancled. For example,
the Sheep to Shawl used wool out of plastic bags : (

Yarn Harlot by
[email protected]
Surprise! Stephanie for Yarn Harlot fame, included Arizona on her
tour. She is one very brave person being from Canada and we had just
had a week of temps reaching 120F (48C). She came to city of Mesa and
had her lecture at the Fiber Factory. This is the firest time I'd
ever been to Fiber...

The mystery yarn swatch by
Shillelagh
has turned out not to be feltable wool. So, I'm guessing it's probably
acrylic or a blend. Bleah. I'll have to figure out something else to do
with it now. I could double or triple it up and make a bag that way. Oh
well. (pouting).

Thanks! by
Bob & Carol
I just want to say thank you to the member who shared that she kept her
circular needles in sheet protectors in a three-ring binder.
It's finally raining and I organized mine today....it is so organized and
can be put away neatly.
Thanks to someone out there!!
