Sioux City IA LQS by
Joan8904
Had a wonderful time yesterday in Sioux City! The main reason for the trip was
a 311 concert at the new Tyson Center.
But along the way, I found the Heart & Hands Dry Goods Co. What a great store!
The help was helpful; they had several items (including Timtex) that I'd been
looking for; they...

I went to the 25th Annual Schoolhouse Quilters Quilt Show in Cumberland MD

On the theory that the header put you all off first time around, I am
trying this one again because -you may not believe this -I didn't get
one single solitary anorexic little reply to my request for info.
So here goes....
Does anyone have experience off or know of anyone who can advise me of
a...

Ottawa(ON) area quilt shops by
Renee Clark
I will be going to Ottawa in ten days, and would love to hear about any
must-stop LQS's in the city. Also going to Cobourg for a wedding while in
Ontario, so anything in between is fair game too. All you Ottawa area
quilters, please help me support my fabric habit!
:-) Renee

Choosing a decorator. Not OT by
Susan Laity Price
My husband agreed that it was time we did something with the house. We
have survivied those teenage years. We thought about downsizing but
decided we weren't ready for that just yet. We agreed upon a budget
for redecorating much of the house over the next two years.
I decided that I needed some...

Quiltmaker/Mickie! by
Sandy Foster
The earlier discussion about the curved paper piecing in the current
issue of Quiltmaker led to my picking up a copy at TSWLTH this morning.
But I was doubly pleased with my purchase when I saw that Mickie has
another quilt in there -- page 64, Everlasting Rose. As always, she did
a terrific job!...

why is quilting so addictive?? by
Irrational Number
I've made three quilts now as gifts and
two for charity. I can't stop thinking
about quilting. My brain spins up new
designs and I keep looking for stuff to
make for my friends' children.
I even dreamed about quilting. DH and
someone went deep sea fishing for tuna
and I was on the boat. I saw...

Paducah Questions by
Pauline O'Connell
I know many of you attended Paducah this past April & I hope I can pick your
brains a little. I am going in 2005 with a small group of friends (already
have secured hotel reservations:)). It was suggested that we fly into
either Nashville or St. Louis, because the airfare is less money, and rent...

organized s.e.x. by
Roberta Zollner
Mission for today: Make a database of all fabric stores within a couple of
hours' drive. Most of the local patchwork mags format advertisers by postal
code. Everything in this half of Bavaria begins with 8. So I've gone through
a couple of different ones, looked up all the towns on the big road...

I have a website but the templates that the company has are really lousy, so

know any PHP and we can't get the shopping cart to work properly. Does
anybody know of a site where he can learn a little bit more about...

I feel so silly right now!!! by
Lina
I finally decided to sew together DH's quilt, and what do I discover??? I
cut the triangles and the squares different sizes!!!!!
So now I'm going to make him a green and black checkerboard instead of a
green and white windmill pattern!!!!
How I managed to cut the triangles smaller, I have NO idea!...

Have I gushed yet?? (Machine and quilt babbling) by
Lina
About my new machine that is????
OMG! It's so much nicer than my old Kenmore!!!!! It works for starters, and
consistently at that!!!!
I don't think I could have made the two wedding dresses I had to make in May
with the Kenmore and still be here to talk about it. :P
I am SO glad I bought...

Bezel Blocks, anyone? by
Polly Esther
Has anyone played around with the Bezel Blocks ideas in QNM July/August
2004? It looks possible and even fun. I am just wondering if there's
something they haven't mentioned that you figured out such as the blocks
must be cut only if there's a new moon. There are several interesting
variations...
