question about hand lotions & polymer clay by
Marissa Undercofler
Since I am still new to the world of polymer clay, I have a question
regarding hand lotion and polymer clay.
I have very dry hands, so any cracks in my hands pick up the clay, as well
as leave marks..I also have a few places on my fingers where the skin is so
dry that it has flaked a bit and left...

Looking for feedback from the "Pros" by
Marissa Undercofler
I am having a blast with polymer clay. I would like some feedback about the
things I have done so far. So far I have pics of 3 of my play sessions up,
and will have a 4th one as soon as they come out of the oven.
You can see what I have done so far...

Question about Cookie Cutters by
Marissa Undercofler
Is it really necessary to have separate cookie cutters for clay and cookies?
I am curious because I would like to make some shapes that are best made
with cookie cutters, but don't have a whole lot of money to be throwing
around atm to buy all new cookie cutters for my polymer clay. If I wash
them...

Old Handprint in Cement by
Marcy
Hello. I am a new poster to this board.
When I was very small, my mom pressed my hand into some cement that
was poured in our driveway. It has been some 30 years since (it's so
cute!). Anyway, I would like to pour plaster or something into the
handprint, allow it to dry, and voila, my little...

I need a foot by
Laura
I have a barefoot sandals business. I have a hard time finding a good
foot model that is at my disposal for use. I once saw an auction on
ebay for a life size foot made from polymer clay. I lost the auction
but still have the link for what I'm looking for. Anyone interested
in making a woman's...

dry, crumbly clay by
Elizabeth M. Phillips
I am sure you've heard this questions a million times, and yes, I did go
to Glass Attic, but I have two questions:
1 - I have some old, dried out Sculpey that sat too long - yes, I know
Sculpey isn't that good, but I bought it when I didn't know any better.
I would like to use it just to make...

Very Old Fimo by
Suzie-Q
I have some really, really, really, really old Fimo. It's
so old that I don't even remember when I got it. Most of it
is still in the original pacakaging and, when I squeeze it,
it feels sort of soft.
Is this Fimo still usable, or should I toss the whole lot?
If it's good I plan to sell it at a...

transfers by
Carla
Hi all,
I was reading about transferring images to clay on the Glass Attic
website. While there's a *ton* of useful info there, I was wondering if
anyone could provide something more basic; along the lines of
"Step 1 - do this.
Step 2 - do that.
Step 3 - etc."

Finishes, do I need to varnish? by
C A . Butler
Hi all
When I have baked my Premo Sculpey, is it essential to varnish my creation,
what are the consequences if I don't and if I have to varnish, what should I
use, bearing in mind I am on a very tight budget. I have read on the
newsgroup that clear nail varnish works??
Thanks in advance
Cheryl
