How to remove a glued-in shirt label by LurfysMa
Can anyone suggest a way to remove a glued-in label in the back of a polo short? I was given a very nice polo shirt for Christmas. Unfortunately, it has a rather annoying rubberized label glued in the back where the sewn-in labels usually are. I find all labels annoying and I always cut them out....

Needles maybe by NightMist
I _think_ I have a needle issue. Once in a while my Pfaff 130 takes a fit and decides to wrap thread around the spindle that turns the bobbin. My usual response is to take her down, clean her out, oil the open points, and change the needle. Sometimes that works, sometimes I have to do it more...

I put a rule in my news reader that included the word "Gunner" and directed it to delete all messages that had it in the subject line. I got about half the normal amount of messages. I surely hope that I don't miss anything important, but I doubt that. Steve

I'm going to try to make a window seat cover from a very worn oriental rug. I'm planning on cutting the best part of it. I welcome advise on what to attach it for its underside; if it can be hand sewn ( I doubt my machines could handle it); what kind of thread and needles to use; seam allowances...
