Ironing Hints by
Butterflywings
I have severe hand artie and swollen tendons and am in OT for it. My
Therapist said to get the non-slip cabinet liners (rubberized mesh type) and
wrap it around the handle of the iron. Makes holding it easier on the hands
and gives you better control of the iron. (Yes, she sews, too :)

unrelated to quilting OT. Unfortunately, I can not read all the posts here -
there are many, and I like to sort them. I know there have been a lot of
medical issues and relatives that have past =- these issues are...

fabshop hop is anyone participating by
Jacqueline
I am just wondering if anyone is participating in the FabShop Hop and
if they know how it works. I know you visit all these shops and find
all these rabbits, but does it help to go over the number that you
must find to be eligible to win the grand prize?
I have found 132 and it just takes 130...

What to do with Hearts? by
mb from pa
I bought a bag of fabric hearts years ago. Any ideas as to what I can
do with them?
I know I cannot applique them like you would with ones that are cut out
using freezer
paper. I'm really not sure what to do with them. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mary

try their hand(s) at piecing a 4 patch....
do you think you'd have any time left for them to actually sandwich and
quilt the 4 patch? would you maybe have a frame up with a basted
'wholecloth" on it for them to try if...

SWAP ALERT - SPOOKY Postcard Swap!!! by
Melissa in NJ
It's been awhile since I've given of my time and organized a swap for
RCTQ. I also know I am crazed for time (one of the main reasons why I
haven't done a swap recently!!!). But I feel like it's time to organize
something and to give something back. So I thought and thought what
wouldn't be too...

Quilts, Etc. by
Sharon
We have a new shop opening at the mall this month called Quilts. Etc.
... does anyone know anything about them? I was told all the quilts are
made on the west coast by Canadians and prices are anywhere from $60 to
$250 .. that doesn't seem much for a quilt of any quality. Just
wondering. Of...

Latte Quilt - I think I'm way over my head! by
C&S
Is anyone from the group doing the Latte quilt? I decided to take the
course at my Bernina Dealer in order to learn more about my machine (we meet
once a month). What a difficult and time consuming quilt it is.
This hooping and re-hooping business is not as easy as it looks (it takes me
forever...
