beautiful, pristine, solid oak with fancy solid brass handles and lots of
carved wood.
It has an "Improved Faultless" machine inside that is also in great
condition and still works.
Does anyone know where I can get information...

"Lively" quilt by
Trixie
I finished the quilt my husband described as "lively," which I call "Hot

"New" ways to read newsgroups by
Louise
I just came across a few Web sites: talkaboutquilting.com,
quilting-forum.com, and craftbanter.com. All are Web interfaces to the
newsgroup! I didn't test any of them to see how easy they were to use, but I
plan to try them out to see if they're more user-friendly than Google.

I have an opportunity to get a friend's mother's old Singer Sewing Machine.
Before she goes to the trouble of dragging it out, I want to see if anyone
can tell me which models are worth having. I'm sure it is not a
Featherweight (darn), but I was hoping it might be a model I've heard has a

cotton but not sure -- haven't tested it. The wrestlers pics are recxtangular,
about 2" x 4" surrounded by a yellow line. The piece I have...
