teapot spouts by
Slgraber
there is no real way to know how much your spouts will "twist" except for
making a bunch and review the results. at a minimum knowing that the spouts DO
twist will help you adjust things in the leather stage.
for me the twist is about 2° or so. small, but noticeable so i do the spout
lip cut at...

Cone question by
L.Mac
I just finished my first glaze firing (Olympic 2827H with V6-CF
Controller) to ^6 and it apparently got too hot (even though the
temperature readout indicated it was at the correct temp) b/c my 7
cone melted. How can this affect my pieces?

Glazing help by
E.R.Somdahl
Use a large tray or lid from a garbage can. Fill to about 1/2 inch ( 1cm
) a dip the lip of the bowl until it touches bottom. You get a nice even
ring around the lip. Tip: use a contrasting glaze.
