Jinny Beyer Tessellations by
BDS2pds
Hey Teresa,
Thanks for answering me in the quilting group. I am thinking of offering
myself up to do art wall hangings or throws for both of my sons for Christmas.
Obviously not enough time left for me to finish them as I hawve a stack here to
do before that day but thought they might like to...

Trellis Quilrt by
[email protected]
When I was looking at other things, I came across this rather
ineresting quilt, which I had never seen before. As long as one keeps
the colors straight, it looks fairly easy to do:

The page is not in English, but it is fairly straight forward.

Do you starch? by
Tricia
Do you use starch on your quilting fabrics? Why or why not? If you
do, how do you do it (spray, liquid, aerosol)? Certain brands? Any
recommendations?
What does it affect?
Tricia
(sick of sloppy cuts and considering using starch in the hopes of
crispness)

My New QI!! by
Purple
I have been quilting for six months now but now I feel like a fully fledged
quilter. My DH bought my daughter and I a wonderful kitten last Wednesday
called Ruby. He is a male cat but for reasons best known to my three year
old daughter she has seen fit to call him Ruby. God bless toddlers!
I have...

Story of a quilt by
Georg
It's long at start, but it'll get to the quilt eventually.
When I first moved out on my own, I got two kittens, from a friend's
barn. I called them Rascal and Stasia. They were rambunctious, but I
could tell something was wrong with Stasia's health. I took them to the
vet, and they were diagnosed...

feeling stupid by
Karen, Queen of Squishies[_2_]
Thunderbird, my newsreader, decided to update itself. Now I can't find
the 'reply' button when I read the messages. What I wanted to say was -
John, you should start a line of Girly accessories on Etsy. They look
great! But I couldn't find the button. Alas... I suppose that's what I
get...

My Ladies Quilt by
Kay Ahr[_2_]
Decisions, decisions!!
Last year a person I worked with gave me a chuck of fabric. She said her
brother had given it to her about 30 years ago. She finally realized she
would do nothing with it and thought I might want it.
I pre-washed them and cut them apart. I want each to have her own...

Vintage Singer Sewing Machines by
Regina
Just want some feedback. I know there are people that are devoted to
the Singer Featherweight 221s and 222s. I have read quite a bit about
them on the internet. Is there anyone that has an opinion on the
other early models of portable Singer sewing machines (models 66k,
15k, etc.) that can tell...

OT Musings on cell phones by
Kathy Applebaum
Got my new cell phone in the mail today. (Battery on the old one was shot,
and it was cheaper to get a new phone than a new battery. Something is
definitely wrong with that picture.) By today's standards, this one has
almost no bells and whistles, which means it's light years ahead of my old
one....

directory problem??? by
Jeri
Am I the only one who got an email from LN that said it contained the
directory but had no attachment?
I checked all my settings and I don't see anything that would prevent me
from getting it. I also checked the headers and I don't see any evidence
that Norton decided to strip it.
