Carolyn McCarty
We got some rain today--a real gully-washer around 1:00. Thanks for the
prompt response, Cheryl!
Most folks in the US know that the desert southwest has been in a state of
drought for more than 10 years now. Drought in the desert is really scary!
Isn't it, Sandy & Pati & Butterfly?!?
I've...

kaleidoscope quilt by
Judy W
Hi all,
I would love to make a Kaleidoscope quilt and can't seem to be able to find
a pattern with templates to go with. Does anyone here know where I could buy
a set? I don't want to use cardboard or any thing flimsy for the templates,
so I don't want to make my own.
Thanks,
Judy

three days!
Obviously I have "dropped off the loop" again.
One of the posts said "Thanks Cheryl" and it was Patti
talking about causing rain. Is there another Cheryl here...

A Breakthrough in Understanding! by
Sunny
Three times I picked out the seam, recut the little piece, marked
where it should be stitched, restitched. The third time I opened the
basted seam and saw that it STILL didn't match in the corners, I had a
breakthrough. I finally realized what was going on.
There, in front of me, was the perfect...

Stash raid! by
Debra
Mom and I were invited to a stash raid today. We got some goodies!
Since I joined Terbear's Your Pick Swap I knew I had some colors I
needed for making other people's blocks so I used the raid like a mini
store and got some fabrics that would work with some of my swap block
ideas. I also got...

Directory? by
Kate G.[_2_]
Is there a consensus as to whether we should continue to wait... or start
over?
Has anybody heard from Alice W. lately? about 3 weeks ago she indicated
that she was still traveling... but we're not to far from the year
anniversary of taking information to start the directory.
I have had...

Pieced Backs? Blocks? by
dogmom
If you piece your backs, do you make designs, or do big blocks, or just big
scraps or what? I once made about a 24" sawtooth star for the back of a 60"
lap quilt, then added BIG borders till it all got big enough. It looked
really nice and dented the stash a tad more, but generally I don't feel...

I have sent out 25 Directory emails and one bounced. I was able to correct

In order to check the emails, I am going to do a quick email test. You

Quilty TV on the Computer by
Sally Swindells
There seem to be more sites for watching 'TV' quilty videos now.
I subscribed to the Alex Anderson/Ricky Tims one, but am a little
disappointed - too much like a chat show for me, and I find the
cheering, shouting audience a bit much. I did enjoy Joen Wolfrom in the
latest, but that was only a...

help! forgotten name of quilt shop by
Morag in Scotland
Hoping some of the European posters can help me out here as I'm sure I got
the recommendation here originally.
I bought twice from an American online store, definitely east coast,
possibly Pennsylvania. I think the name had "fat quarter" in it, possibly
not. Anyway, I used them because they...

Yikes! My memory is really failing me! I can't remember who it is that

it Kay?), would you be so kind -- when you get a moment -- as to change
