More needlework adventures . . . by
Dianne Lewandowski
Last spring I posted about this. It was a huge success. So many
applicants had to be turned away. Those who took the class begged for
more. So, they're doing it again in September. Here's the information.
For those who live in this area, or are planning to visit, this is a
don't miss:

Stitching Problems by
Brandy
Hello to the group,
It's been several weeks since I made a post and just thought it was
time.
I don't know about the group but it seems that I'm always looking for
items for my stitching. Not to long ago I read a post about a shop
that had just about any type of needlework, well they were right....

My county fair results by
Donna D.
Thanks. My stitching always has threads on the back and never specialty
stitches. If a TW castle wins 3rd its tough.
I enter every couple of years. I just cant stitch as fast as some. 4th is as
good as I usually get. I am surprised about the 3rd place that category had
more competition in...

Tia Mary-remove nekoluvr to reply
Hi Guys,
I would like to trade needlework stuff (or other stuff of your choice) for a
noren -- is there anyone here who is living in Japan and would like to do a
trade with MOI?? I want to get a Maneki-Neko noren and can't find one the
right size. The ones I find online are a single panel (about...

OT, so many postings!!! by
Boohoo1971
I have a new computer. The old one finally gave up, rolled over and is now in
well-used and loved computer heaven. I have an eMac with OS10 and can not
believe the number of postings I have. I fussed about a lack of them a couple
of times....not any more!!!!! When I struggle to do something...

Piece ID needed by
Christine O
Hi all,
If anyone would know, it would have to be someone on RCTN :-)
My great (grand?) aunt passed away at the beginning of August. I
brought home her needlework stash and faithfully aired the six pieces
out as she was a heavy smoker. I only had time to scan one in tonight,
but there will be...

OT - why me! by
xray_momma
So sorry to hear about your DS. I am sure he will be alright, just make
sure to keep the burns clean and covered. I can sympathize. My DS burned
his hands at Grandmas house when he was about a year. He grabbed onto a
propane space heater. He had 2nd degrees on his hands, it was hard because
he...

Hi the

Is anyone else dismayed by the lack of needlework related posts? I know
there is a certain ebb and flow to newsgroups, but when is the tide going to
