new group proposed for vision impairments by Aula
Henrietta K. Thomas is proposing a new big 8 group in news.groups. She needs some evidence that people who are already on usenet might actually read and post to such a group. If you have any interest in a group supporting visually impaired persons, you may want to take a look at the RFD and make...

Update on metallic thread by Tracey
Last weekend, I made it to a great little shop that I found while looking on the internet. It's called Fiddlesticks (in Honolulu.) They carry quite a few different lines of threads and other things for cross stitch (and other needlework) and I was able to buy a cylinder/bobbin/whatever of Kreinik...

Does anyone else have this pattern? Have you figured out the mistake? The color # is 758 for both terra cotta...

OFF TOPIC - my rush for the day by Cheryl Isaak
I went next door to sit with neighbor and watch the kids play. We walk over to her old garden, now a holding bed. We notice a long snake, brown and tan in the compost bin. Now - over the weekend (at camp) I hear that the Easter Diamondback has been seen in more suburban areas. OK - right color,...

Time/Effort to Cross Stitch by luvs2stitch
Hello! I love to cross stitch book marks and small projects. Even the most simple project seems to take a lot of time. How long on average does it take for you to complete a simple cross stitch project? Thanks, Cindy
