discolored hydrocal castings by
jaw
I have been pouring hydrocal in urethane molds and have consistently
had problems with slight discoloration in the castings. The
discoloration is grey, sort of splotchy, sometimes a little cloudy,
altogether annoying. Am I wrong to assume that hydrocal should always
cast white? I've been using...

Buffing Beads by

Hi All,
Quick question. Anyone have any really nifty ideas for holding on to bead
whilst you are buffing them?? I have scared the bejesus out of the dog and
myself with flying beads that get kicked out of the buffer while I am trying to
hold on to them. Any input would be...

Sculpey Eraser Clay - one year later by
Irwin
A year ago, I asked whether anyone knew about the durability of
Sculpey Eraser Clay. I wanted to use it as the bottom of my boxes
because it is somewhat spongy rather than hard.
Well.... I never did formal testing of the material, but recently I
did find out the suitability of trhe material for my...

The Michaels Book of Arts and Crafts by
Shayla Anthony
I just bought the new book by Lark Publications and Michaels. It does have a
small Polymer Clay section, nothing that's new to seasoned veterans of clay
though, but does have some good pictures of projects by a few folks in the
clay community. But it's a good reference for new clayers, and has a...

I have been selling one-of-a-kind jewelry (wholesale and retail) for 5
years, and I've got presentation issues and paraphernalia (cards, tags,
cases, etc.) pretty much figured out. Today I made a (for me) big sale of my
polymer clay beads (73 beads in lots of 5-9) to a new client, and I felt
like a...

However, the seller said that the artists do not bake them to cure
them but they use...
