OT Update on Colette by Linda2
Colette is still in hospital because her breathing is "labored." She had a CAt scan of the sinuses this morning but as of bedtime tonight, no dcotor showed to give her the results. She was given magnesium IV as her level was low. Also antibiotics for a sinus infection. They took her off the...

Has anyone heard/used this site? by Candace
it's called World Wide Beads, at http://www.wordwidebeads.com This is the first time I've come across it, and I can't recall hearing about anywhere before, so I was wondering if anyone else knows anything about the company. TIA :) ~Candace~ your local hemp goddess :)

OT Hardships&Material Wants...was Another Bracelet by Candace
Super Snipped: I have to say the thing I missed most when we were poor was hot water. We went without heat and hot water for a long time when I was a teen, because I couldn't afford a tank of oil most of the time. I tried to stay at school and work as much as possible, because it least it was...

Crimps with Fireline? by Ken Knecht
I like to use Fireline, in preference to Softflex or whatever, but I have a problem positioning knots just where I want them, despite trying to guide them into place with a whatever. Can I use crimps instead? I've not tried it, fearing they would cut the line eventually. TIA Ken

Ooooooooo La La bracelet by Beadbimbo
I don't know why I've wanted to try making one of these. This so does NOT go with my wardrobe of jeans and t-shirts. http://www.beadbimbo.com/ebay/tennis.jpg I saw a pattern for one in a WAJ magazine, but the stones didn't go all the way around and I didn't like so much wrap that was on it, so I...

Who is going to Bead and Button?? by mkahogan
I am going on Friday and on Saturday. Now that I am not doing shows and am more of a hobbyist, I can buy what I am passionate about, not what I think will sell. Not that I ever made things I did not personally like. But, I bought a lot of things in anticipation of mixing and matching, without...

*sigh* by [email protected]
I've been happily anticipating a gem and mineral show that was going to take place at the local fairgrounds. Until yesterday, when I realized the schedule I had been looking at online was from 2003 and it was over two days ago. *sob* So, what are everyone's favorite sources for...

A Good Day by Christina Peterson
This morning I had my computer-tuter come and help me. I had thought I had a virus, but I couldn't find it. Instead I seem to have acquired a critical mass of spyware in the last week. So I got Spybot and help using it to best advantage. Then we fixed my printer. I kept following directions...

Review: Zooziis Pillow Press by starlia
I have had this pillow press less than 24 hours, but I wanted to give a review on the product from a non-bias party. Constructions: Heavy brass plates with pinpoint alignment. Sturdy wooden handle wrapped in wire. It has a 'Z' on the corners for alignment purposes so you never have to guess if...

AD: Deepwood Art Lampwork on eBay by Candace
well, Fran, by the time your .50 auction closes, I'll have some(a little) money to play with! So I put in a conservative bid, that I know will be wiped out in no time, lol. But I really really like the teal green of those beads. :) ~Candace~ your local hemp goddess :)
