lounge chair by
tcoop
I have a lounge chair that has the rubber straps across it instead of the
nylon webbing. The rubber has started to dry rot and I need to re-do the
straps.
Has anyone done this before and if so, can you tell me where I can get the
materials I need?
Any tips on repairing this chair would be...

Outdoor mosaic by

I have to make an outdoor mosaic for a community garden using broken
tiles cemented to the ground. I want to involve children in the
construction of the mosaic and the plan is that we will run a workshop
where each child will make a 1' square mosaic 'slab' which will later be

Small drill by
TRCB
Hi,
I once saw an ad for a small drill to be used for crafts, they claimed that
it was even safe for children. It was hand (maybe even finger) operated and
used to make small holes in wood. Does anyone have any info on this as I
would like to purchase one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
Maybe a stupid question, but hope someone can help.
When we bought out house 4 years ago, the kitchen walls over the
countertops were tile in a plain almond wall tile. We replaced the
cabinet and countertops, but discovered if we tried to remove one of
these tiles, it took the wallboard with...

UPDATE: Hubby is improving, the surgery went well. He's able to walk some,
is now on liquid diet, may come home tomorrow or the next day. We haven't
got the lab results as yet, so don't know what further treatment is needed.
But he says the pain from the surgery is LESS than he had before!
The bad...

good source to buy very small tin boxes/containers? by
Mad Scientist Jr
Over the years I have found random tins (some square with hinges, some
round) are great to use for project boxes. Especially for very small
circuits (ie preamps) that need RF shielding.
Can anyone recommend a good vendor of small tins? Buying them at the
supermarket gets expensive, and I hate...

things. The book says to use a 1" diameter plastic egg for the
rattle, and a 9" expandable apron clip by Dritz that has an opening or
