The Creation Station, Buellton, CA by
Anne Rogers
At Ginger's recommendation, we headed there on Wednesday, what a great shop!
Lots of stuff on display and all the fabric is 5 dollars a yard, unusually,

the same price as off the bolt, convenience at no cost!
They had...

M&L Fabrics, Anaheim by
Anne Rogers
Thanks to the multiple people who recommended this!
We have ended up staying about a mile away from it, so it was not a problem
to fit in some time there yesterday.
I found it interesting that the cheap fabrics were displayed in such a way
that is was very difficult to find anything! It seemed...

I don't remember a lot of things! LOL Anyway, I would like to have my

SM and Computer Woes by
Charlotte Hippen
My SM's are broken and now my computer has decided it wants to act out. I
hate to ask what next. My sewing machine has decided it no longer wants to
work. It will either not work at all, or go all by iteself depending on if
the petal is pluged in before you turn it on or after. I have my...

Playing Card design on Material ? by
Maloney Empire[_2_]
Hi all,
I am trying to find some material to continue the theme in my daughter's
quilt.
I am using what she calls the Disco Dancing "GollyByGolly" that I have
appliquéd, made four small squares with the Ace/Spade/Heart/Club icons and
we are now looking for material that has a playing cards design...

Mailing out the Boutique by
Sunny
Tomorrow I am loading up the XB and heading to the UPS store. All
packages, squishies, cards and such are leaving by sometime tomorrow.
They should arrive ---- depends on where the recipient lives and
whether the little gremlins in charge of moving packages are working
or having fun.
Thanks for...

Help finding needles for an old SM by
Charlotte Hippen
My mother has her grandmothers old tredle machine. She is having trouble
finding a needle for it. Everyone she has talked to says to use a regular
needle. She can't get it to work. The needle in it is longer than a normal
needle she says. She has tried them just to make sure it wouldn't...

Quilting Goals for 2007 by
frood
Each year, I try to post a thread on quilting goals. Once I figured out
to put "goals" plus the year in the subject, finding the old posts was
much easier! I find it fun to go back and look at past goals, to see how
the year compared to them.
This thread is intended for quilty-type...

OT Sewing for the troops by
Taria
My cousin just sent me this link:
http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/myfox/
She is involved in the Sew Much Comfort charity
organization. I know lots of folks here sew
quilts for the troops and thought there might
be some interest in the adaptive clothing that
wounded soldiers need.
