1way stretch fabric for 2way stretch pattern? by Joy Hardie
Here is my problem of the day. I have a one-way stretch lycra material that I need to use for a two-way stretch bodysuit pattern. The fabric does have a "slight" stretch in the second direction....but not the 75% that the pattern calls for. Am I better off.... #1 - Using the stretch for the width...

Draft a bra pattern from a sloper by TJones3676
The sloper used should be a perfect fit for the person for whom the bra is to be drafted. The front and back are drafted at the same time. 1. Trace the front and back slopers, including the darts. If there is a side seam in the sloper, picot it into the waistline dart before beginning. 2. ...

Threads back cover by joy beeson
I just got the January (#116) issue of threads. My first thought on seeing the "blouse" on the back cover was that it must be underwear; lovely construction, but surely nobody would want to be seen like that! Then I thought that part of the underwear look came from fitting the garment to someone...
