hemmer foot question by
barney
I have tried a universal hemmer foot on my Toyota 2400 EC1 machine
without success.
Although the material feed is OK the stiching falls outside the hem!!
A friend mentioned that on her sewing machine there is a needle
position control.
My machine doesn't have this feature. The only way I can think...

Hello,
I was cruising through when I saw my name (I'm a member of the quilting
NG) on a post that turned up on my regular news group but that I never,
ever wrote. The link it to something vile. This troll has been plaguing
our group and has been stealing screen names for posting hideous...

Need help ID'ing Singer model number by
BookWight
Hi -
I just got a Singer sewing machine as a hand-me-down from my sister. Is
there a page which displays a large number of models so I might make a
guess as to which model corresponds to mine?
Where would I look for the model number on the machine?

Question book "Pattermaking for fashion design". by
Coquin
Hello,
I am having trouble with the Front bodice draft pattern of the book
"Pattermaking for fashion design".
Page 35 (in the 4th edition), figure 3, it says:
"J to K= Side length
Out 1 1/4 inches out from E line"
But side length from J does not give me K, so I need another measurement.

good question by
Val
I've been helping my jr. high aged neighbor girl with her sewing when she
gets stuck. I must say I really enjoy this. Not only the sewing part but we
do have some interesting conversations as we are undoing, doing up or
redoing parts of her projects. She was quite surprised to find out that boys...

Halloween costumes by
Kathy Morgan
I would really like to make Halloween costumes for my husband and me
this year, but I have absolutely no ideas about what I'd like to make.
What are the rest of you planning? I'm hoping for some great inspiration
here. You'all are very talented and imaginative, so I'm open to
suggestions.

Recommendation for machine by
Chambers
Hi,
I need to purchase a sewing machine for occasional use.The machine will be
used for minor garment repairs and perhaps some craft projects. I don't want
to spend more than $200 on a machine.
Thanks in advance.

Joanns coupons by
Dawn
Are they still sending these by email? I was signed up at one point,
then stopped getting email from them altogether, and now only seem to be
getting the sale notices (but not links to online coupons).

I usually lurk here and frequent the quilting group but I got a
question that fits more into the sewing side of things

interview. I was just barely this side of comfortable with where the
buttons began and it has been...

Singer 401 and 500 and Singer CG-500 by
McIntoshDonnie
Does anyone know if the presser feet and slant shank for the Singer 401
and 500 are interchangable with Singer's commercial grade model CG-500?
I'm looking to buy a machine lock side cutter to use on my 401 and
500, and the seller, who uses it on her CG-500, does not know if it is
interchangable....
